Participants will:

The workshop will run in a supportive, inclusive environment designed to help participants reconnect with creativity and the natural world.

Step into a day of colour, stillness and creative immersion in the heart of the Lockyer Valley. Colour, Calm and Landscapes is a full‑day experience designed to help you slow your pace, soften your breath and reconnect – through art, with the land around you. Guided by ImmersionArts, you’ll be led through gentle painting processes, exploring washes, layering and observational drawing inspired by the surrounding landscape. The focus is not on perfection, but on presence learning to see, feel and respond creatively to what is before you.

Interwoven with the artmaking are mindful creative practices that encourage calm, clarity and authentic self‑expression. This is space to exhale, to experiment, and to let the process unfold naturally. Over the workshop, you will build confidence, deepen your creative awareness and complete a finished artwork using beautiful, high‑quality materials, all provided. The cost of this workshop is partially subsidised through the RADF (Regional Arts Development Fund), making it exceptional value and helping to ensure this immersive creative experience remains accessible to the community.

Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or returning to painting after time away, this workshop offers a warm, supportive environment to rediscover your creative flow and sense of ease.
